The Importance of Employer Brand in Attracting Talent
โEmployer Brand and EVP is a topic thatโs been thrown around for a number of years but is now something that each and every company needs to be taking very seriously in order to attract the best talent in the market. Weโre seeing, that whilst salary is still an important factor in a candidateโs decision to join a company, employer brand and the company offering across benefits, culture and personal development are even more important. With all this in mind, the first big question some of you might be asking is:ย What is EVP/Employer Brand:Employee Value Proposition (EVP) is a term used to describe the blend of factors, principles and offerings that create the appeal of working for an organisation. Every company strives to create a proposition that helps it stand out in the market but at the same time also reaffirm and build on its strengths with current employees. Essentially, companies review and develop their EVP and employer brand in order to understand what makes them great and sets them apart from other companies and essentially why more people should join them. From the information gained by current employees as to why they love where they work, companies can put together content that really showcases their business to the external market enabling them to continue attracting fantastic talent whilst at the same time, continue to engage with their current workforce and create a really strong โpeopleโ brand.ย Why is this important?Having a strong employer brand is a great way of becoming an employer of choice, which, in such a competitive market will drastically increase your chances of landing top talent. Q4 Incentive - Budapest 2020
โWith Budapest being our first incentive trip of 2020 we knew we had to pull out all the stops.. and it certainly did not disappoint!โOur top performers started the Friday morning right with a few drinks at the airport, before jetting off to Budapest to begin a fantastic incentive weekend. After checking into the Corinthia Hotel, one of Budapest's finest 5 star hotels, it was time for a spot of sightseeing around the city! After working up an appetite, everyone headed to Halaszbastyaย castle for a 5 course tasting meal with pairing wines, all with some of the best views overlooking Budapest from the castle. The night ended with drinks at the lively Szimpla Kert, one of the most iconic party places in Budapest!โIt wouldn't be a trip to Budapest without heading to the thermal baths - even the sun made an appearance throughout the Saturday! After a relaxing day at the thermal baths, the guys headed to Instant Club for the evening where the drinks went way into the night, the perfect way to end a fantastic weekend.โA brilliant start to 2020 - we're now counting down the days until our next incentive trip to Dubai!
