Role: 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer
Location: Leicestershire 
Salary: £18,000 - £24,000 DOE
 
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer to join my clients expanding business on a permanent basis supporting a wide range of interesting businesses around the UK.
Responsibilities: 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer
  • Always provide excellent customer service and customer communications
  • Office 365 Migrations & Configuration
  • Installation, administration, and management of Windows Servers
  • Installation & Configuration of IT Security Systems, IP Surveillance & Networking
  • Deployment of end user devices (Windows O/S and iOS) and Windows servers
  • Backup System administration and configuration.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line Hardware & Software IT support to UK and overseas clients.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates to job management system and clients.
  • Deployment and management of hosted VOIP solutions
 
Skills and experience: 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer
 
  • In-depth knowledge supporting desktop/laptop Computers & servers in a Windows Active Directory Environment (On Premise & Azure) and-standalone systems
  • Logical fault-finding skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows OS, Mac OS, and Server OS
  • In-depth knowledge supporting Microsoft Office suites & Office 365 including OneDrive & SharePoint
  • In-depth knowledge supporting desktop/laptop Computers & servers in a Windows Active Directory Environment (On Premise & Azure) and-standalone systems
  • Experience of networking (Routers, Wireless, Switching, Microwave Links, internet connectivity)
  • Knowledge of network cabling & termination
  • UK Driving Licence
