Role: 3rd Line Support Engineer

I have a client based in Bournemouth who are looking for a 3rd Line Support Engineer who has experience with Windows Sever Management, Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, Cisco, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, LAN & WAN, VMWare, vSphere, Veeam, Backups, SAN, Disaster Recovery and Citrix XenApp on a Permanent basis.

Our Client is offering the successful 3rd Line Support Engineer a salary up to £45,000 based on experience.

You will be working within a small team where you will be the escalation point for all things 3rd line related from the 1st and 2nd line support engineers.

We are looking for proven experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, VMware 6.5+, Exchange Server 2016, Veeam and WAN architecture at a 3rd line level.

Interviews will be taking place remotely via Teams. The company have the ability to work remotely, however this role will require you to work closely with several other departments, so we are looking for people within a commutable distance to Bournemouth.

Skills and Experience Required

 

  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Windows Sever Management
  • Active Directory, Group Policy and Exchange
  • Network Skills with Cisco, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, LAN & WAN
  • VMWare, vSphere, Veeam
  • Backups, SAN, Disaster Recovery
  • Citrix XenApp 
  • ITIL is desirable but not essential.
