ROLE – Application Support Engineer

LOCATION – Fully Remote

SALARY - £35,000 - £47,000 (DOE)

We have partnered with a well-established, market leading company within the UK who are looking to hire an experienced Application Support Engineer to join their growing team! This is a fantastic time to join the business with plans to expand and develop the business further in 2021, paving the way for some really exciting projects!


As the business continued to grow throughout 2020, they took the decision to go office-less and as such this role is fully-remote.


The Application Support Engineer will ideally have the following skills/experience:


  • Managing and operating VMware-based states
  • Performance tuning and troubleshooting Windows Servers, SQL Servers & IIS
  • Supporting software development environments
  • Error reporting & log analysis systems
  • Background/experience in security and hardening Windows systems


The Application Support Engineer will be responsible for managing, operating and supporting a suite of web applications running on .Net/IIS/Windows Servers as well as SQL Servers. Because this is a fully-remote opportunity, we are looking for individuals who are energetic, driven and technically strong with a strong sense of self management.
