Job Title: Azure Data Engineer

Location: London (Remote flexibility)

Salary: Up to £82,000 doe

Are you an enthusiastic Data Engineer? Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity in the heart of London? A fantastic client of mine is in need of a highly proficient Azure Data Engineer.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop applications
  • Review, test and debug team members’ code
  • Prioritize, assign and execute tasks throughout the software development life
  • Identify and analyse user requirements
  • Write well-designed, efficient code 

Essential Skills:

  • 3-10 year’s experience in the Data Engineering capacity
  • Azure AD/IAM and Data Catalog
  • Azure Databricks
  • Azure SQL DW & Azure SQL
  • HDInsight (Spark/Kafka)
  • Programming on Java / Python / Scala / .NET
  • Azure Data factory
  • Azure Storage
  • Azure Event Hub
  • Azure Data Lake

Good to have skills

  • Hadoop distributions like Cloudera or Hortonworks
  • Azure Kubernetes
  • Azure Functions
  • CosmosDB
  • Azure Batch
  • IOT Hub
