SALARY- £20,000 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
My client work within the engineering sector and they are looking for a Distribution Administrator to join their business in the Gloucestershire area.
The Distribution Administrator will ideally have the following attributes:
- Have experience in working in a similar Sales / Administrator / Distribution type position ideally
- Any previous engineering, manufacturing or logistics company experience would also be ideal
- Good understanding of Logistics and Transport and the up and down stream processes
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Good proficiency with using Microsoft Office; particularly Excel
- Be very organised with great attention to detail
- Any knowledge of MRP systems, ideally SAP would be very beneficial
- Be highly organised and professional
- Be self-motivated and keen to work in a fast paced environment
- Co-ordinating and expediting materials through the supply chain
- Being involved in enabling on time delivery to customers
- Carrying out administration tasks
- Always paying strong attention to detail
- Working in a fast paced environment
- Always complying with the companies QHSE policy
- Liaising with the planning and warehouse teams on transport requirements
- Building strong relationships with suppliers
- Identifying opportunities to simplify the supply chain process
- Updating and maintaining reports in Excel
- Ensuring excellent levels of customer service are achieved
