Job Title: Electronic Engineer
Contract Duration: 9 months  
Contract Hourly Rate: £40-50 an hour, depending on skillset & experience
IR35 Determination: Outside
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, Nottinghamshire
 
Premier Engineering has engaged with a new & key client specialised in critical medical devices & surgical equipment. Currently in a recruitment drive due to demand of new exiting and innovative projects, we are recruiting for an Electronic Engineer who has a background in medical devices or similar such as surgical equipment familiar with Medical ISO standards.
This role can be worked remotely with at least 1 visit to the office due to R&D meetings. They are looking for someone to start immediately on a contract basis.

Essential skills:
  • Analogue/Digital circuit design
  • PCB Layout
  • EMI Testing
  • Embedded C/C++
  • FPGA development – VHDL
  • Altium experience
Desirable skills:
  • Experience working with safety standards (ISO 62304/13485)
  • Experience writing firmware for microcontrollers
  • Power electronics experience
