Role- Field Service Engineer

Salary- Circa £28,000 - £32,000 per annum plus O/T & bonus (dependent on experience)

Type- Permanent

Location- Sussex or London

My client designs, manufactures and services electro-mechanical products and they are looking to take on a Field Service Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the Sussex or London area.

The Field Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

  • NVQ / HNC / HND qualification in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Previous experience working in a similar hands on Field Service or Maintenance role
  • Have both mechanical and electrical engineering skills
  • Previous installation and service experience working with electro-mechanical equipment
  • Good trouble-shooting capabilities
  • Be self-motivated and able to coordinate your own workload
  • Good time management capabilities
  • Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
  • Have good communication skills to work well with customers
  • Full UK Driving Licence
The Field Service Engineer role will involve:

  • Working as a key member of the engineering service team
  • Looking after equipment on customer sites – both mechanical and basic electrical skills will be used
  • Communicating effectively with customers
  • Be able to problem solve as required
  • Conform to Health & Safety regulations at all time
  • Covering either the West Sussex or London area
