FPGA/Firmware Engineer – London – £50,000 - £65,000 pa
 
An Electronics Manufacturer specialising in imaging technology are looking for 2 FPGA/Firmware Engineers to join their growing development team.
 
Responsibilities:
  • New Product Design from concept to release
  • Working with the R&D team to develop and validate new PCB & Sensor Designs.
  • Specify test methods, set up test rigs etc.
  • Develop firmware framework and methodology
 
Key Skills/Experience:
  • Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline
  • VHDL
  • Verification & Validation including test bench design
  • Vivado & Modelsim
  • Full firmware development lifecycle
Any mix of the following is nice to have:
  • Analogue & Digital Circuit Design
  • C/C++, python
  • Verilog
  • MATLAB/Image processing
  • PCB design
  • Medical device standards
  • EMC
