Job Title: Junior/Graduate Quality & Test Engineer

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Malvern, Worcestershire

Salary: circa £25K

Premier Engineering has engaged with a key client who are a global leader & manufacturer of specialist products, delivered to various applications & industry sectors. Due to recent promotions, we have a great and exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to join & kick start their career with this fabulous opportunity as a Quality & Test Engineer.

Reporting to Quality & Technical Manager

  • Supporting role within production department; focusing on improving the quality of products, processes and information provided to customers:
  • Testing of incoming materials, assuring conformance to relevant standards and specifications.
  • Sample testing: New product and existing items requiring ongoing test for CE marking accreditation.
  • Report writing and maintaining testing databases.
  • Maintenance of quality system: Internal audit programme and document control.
  • Assist with new product development, design, sampling and testing. Creation of visual product data for catalogues and website.
  • Product specification database updating and maintenance.
  • ERP system; creation and maintenance of items, routing data and bills of material.
Preferred requirements:

  • Minimum Education Requirements:  A level: Maths, English and Physics.
  • Good standard of written and verbal English.
  • Proven ability to use Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to use two dimensional CAD.
  • Ability to work with others, share ideas and communicate.
  • Experience working/studying in engineering, development or Laboratory environment.
  • Demonstrable interest or experience in development of products or systems.
You must be eligible to work in the UK with no restrictions as visa sponsorship is not available for the role.
