ROLE – Platform Team Leader 


TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £60,000- 85,000 per annum dependent on experience

My client works within the Electronics design sector

The Platform Team Leader will ideally have the following Skills:
  • Degree in Electrical and electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer science or
  • from any other relevant experience
  • Knowledge and experience of the product development life cycle
  • Team Leadership with excellent communication skills
  • Excellent C/C++ skills
  • Knowledge and experience of complex board design
  • Knowledge and experience with Linux development on an embedded platform ideally with
  • Buildroot or Yocto
  • Good understanding of Linux security
  • Working in an Agile environment
  • Safety testing (CE, FCC, UKCA, UL, etc)
  • Full Product Lifecycle 
The Platform Team Leader role will involve:
  • Lead the development team 
  • Development planning & progres sing, with involvement from stakeholders includingTechnical Director, Development Heads & Product Management
  • Line manage members of team, with associated tasks including holiday approval &appraisals.
  • Hardware Platform Design, Development & Release
