This is a senior management position responsible for managing all aspects of the bidding process within their organization. Job Description Key responsibilities of the role include: Leading and managing the bid team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality bid submissions within required deadlines. Developing and implementing effective bid strategies to maximize success rates and win new business opportunities. Coordinating with various internal departments, including engineering, procurement, construction, and sales, to gather relevant information and ensure bid compliance. Reviewing bid documentation, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements. Identifying and managing key stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships, and communicating bid progress and outcomes. Monitoring competitor activity, market trends, and industry developments to inform bid strategies and gain a competitive edge. Overseeing the negotiation and finalization of contracts, working closely with legal and finance teams. Required Skills and Experience Strong background in Civil Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Sales. Proven track record in bidding for and winning major projects within the engineering sector. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present complex information. Strong leadership abilities, capable of leading and motivating a team. Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Proficiency in relevant software and tools for bid management and documentation. Relevant qualifications and certifications in Engineering or related fields.
