JOB- HR Manager

LOCATION- Pembrokeshire

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £32,000 - £35,000 per annum dependent on experience

My client works within the manufacturing sector and they are looking for a HR Manager to join their business on a permanent basis in the Pembrokeshire area.

The HR Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

  • CIPD qualified preferred – level 5 or above – although those without may also be considered if your background transfers really well
  • Organisational development experience or qualification preferred
  • Previous experience working in a similar HR Generalist or HR Business Partner or HR Manager role to have the correct transferable skills
  • Previous experience working for a similar engineering / manufacturing company would be desirable but not essential
  • Project Management and Change Management skills
  • Good knowledge of UK employment law
  • Having a positive attitude to work
  • Be organised and efficient to balance workload as required
  • Have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
The HR Manager role will involve:

  • Working between the HR leadership team and the operational team
  • Implementing HR strategies and policies
  • Providing HR expertise
  • Working with employees at varying levels
  • Ensuring that all HR Policies are up to date and are in line with employment law and also Codes of Practice
  • Working with all key stakeholders at varying levels in the Company
  • Managing sickness absence and also payroll administration
  • Being the single point of contact for managers and employees across the business
  • Acting as the performance improvement driver
  • Designing succession plans as required
