JOB PURPOSE

 

The purpose of the project coordinator role is to support the business and IT function deliver key initiatives and projects. He/she is responsible for ensuring project delivery of the agreed project targets on time, in scope and within budget.

He/she will work with colleagues from Singapore, Spain and Germany providing business needs to the IT development teams. Building requirements according to business needs or urgent problems that require implementation in a short period.

He/she will aid the IT manager and act as a sounding board to new ideas and the best strategic approach in solving problems.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES   

Business As Usual

  • Contact for IT support within the organisation.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware components computer and network equipment.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
  • Creating, maintaining, and updating technical and training documentation.
  • Educating and training end-users on new systems.
  • Assisting with Service Now (SNOW) Requests and Incidents
  • Must have experience working on small to large complex projects

Project Management

  • Working with international teams to drive business requirements and scoping of projects, Teams based in Singapore, Germany, and Spain with possible travel to Germany or Spain to meet face to face
  • Aiding with Branch setup for Vorwerk UK (travel will be required)
  • Creating and managing project plans
  • Understand budgets for projects
  • Confident in leading meetings and driving activities to resolution
  • Good at problem-solving and looking for a solution
  • Helping identify key initiatives hindering business

Technical Background

  • Experience working with various software applications e.g., O365, SAP, Telephony systems
  • Networking knowledge covering LAN, WAN, VLAN, Switches, Firewalls and VPN is advantageous

  • External service providers – ensuring software development, testing and deployment to systems are managed effectively. Understanding the scope of any new requirements for business.
