Role: IT Support Graduate (Helpdesk)

We are looking for an individual to work within the IT department to assist with the support and maintenance of systems, an element of this will include ensuring good-housekeeping of system data across the business. Working within the team, you will assist in the evaluation, design, documentation and implementation of network systems and communication technologies in line with business strategy. Full training plus on-going support will also be provided!
Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure the team provides effective support to users on all IT related issues
  • Work with the team to maintain the company’s infrastructure including upgrades, backups and troubleshooting
  • Act as a business partner with business functions to understand roles and IT requirements
  • Assess working practices/processes to identify and drive forward improvements
  • Assist with support of any major incidents
  • Work on server installation and hardware maintenance
  • Assist in the update and maintenance of Company IT policies and procedures to meet current legislative and Company requirements
  • Ensure regular communication within IT Department
  • Ensure regular communication with Managers to all areas of the company

Person Profile:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and 365
  • Knowledge of Hyper V virtualisation & Terminal services
  • Mobile platforms (iOS & Android)
  • WAN/VPLS Network knowledge
  • Computer Science at degree level is preferable
