JOB- Manufacturing planner  / ERP Manager


TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £30,000 - £45,000 per annum plus benefits (dependent on experience)

We are looking for a Production / Manufacturing Planner or Scheduler on a permanent basis in the Sandy area with experience in the Manufacturing Industry. Your main duty will be to Manage the implementation / application of the ERP system across manufacturing to increase efficiency of the planning function.

The Manufacturing planner  / ERP Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Experienced in a production / manufacturing planning or ERP focused position previously.
  • Knowledge of using MRP / ERP systems.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing team.
  • Exposure to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Working experience of quality methods such as 5S, LEAN and Continuous Improvement (very advantageous)
  • Experience implementing an ERP or MRP system – very advantageous
 The Manufacturing planner  / ERP Manager role will involve:
  • Applying the ERP system where needed across manufacturing.
  • Improve the planning and resource management across the business.
  • Analyse business processes to propose effective ERP / technical solutions.
