JOB – Manufacturing / Laboratory Technician

LOCATION – Newhaven

TERM- Permanent

SALARY – up to £27,000 per annum (dependant on experience).

We are urgently looking for a Manufacturing Technician on a permanent basis in the Newhavem area with experience in a manufacturing environment. Your main duties will be assisting with the day-to-day activities of the Manufacturing team through operation of plant machinery, mixing equipment and other machinery.

The Laboratory / Manufacturing Technician will ideally have the following attributes:

  • 2 years’ experience or more in a similar Technical role position.
  • Key attention to detail.
  • Able to communicate with Manufacturing teams.
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Have previous experience working in a manufacturing business.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Any experience of Pharmaceutical, Chemical or Laboratory environments – very beneficial.
The Manufacturing Technician role will involve:
  • Assisting the Manufacturing team with production of specialty coatings and products.
  • Configuring equipment to ensure they are set to correct settings before production.
  • Analysing products and raw material to ensure correct mixture is produced
