JOB- Product Assurance Manager
LOCATION- Oxfordshire
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £45,000-£50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are looking for a Product Assurance Manager on a permanent basis in the Oxfordshire area that manufactures electronic equipment to the Space industry. You will be responsible for all Product Assurance requirements during the project lifecycle whilst working alongside team members from other disciplines to create documentation and hardware for the delivery to the customer.

The Product Assurance Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
  • Degree qualified or experience working in similar role
  • A keen interest in working on Space projects
  • Ability to quickly understand new technical concepts is essential
  • Technical report writing and ability to communicate across all levels
  • A commitment to safety as a top priority
  • Attention to detail and ability to examine data clearly
  • Strong personal time management and ability to achieve objectives
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and work to detailed scheduled plans and deadlines
The Product Assurance Manager role will involve: 
  • Prevention, investigation, and resolution of non-conformances on assigned projects
  • Production of project documentation to meet internal Product Assurance requirements (e.g. Non-conformance reports, End Item Data Packs (EIDP), Inspection Reports)
  • Chairing internal readiness review meetings
  • In-build and in-test inspection points and sign-off of associated reports
  • Assuring compliance to processes and procedures in accordance with the space standards (ECSS), ISO9001, and customer expectations
  • Tracking non-conformances, Request for Deviations (RFD)/Request for Waivers (RFW), and compliances throughout the project lifecycle
  • Completing in build and in test inspection points and sign off of associated reports or checkpoints
  • Schedule adherence of Product Assurance tasks on the designated projects
  • Risk management of the project in relation to Product Assurance activities
  • Project lessons learned in relation to Product Assurance activities
