JOB – Production Supervisor 
 
LOCATION – Northwest London
 
TERM – Permanent
 
SALARY – £30,000 to £45,000 per annum     
                  
My client manufactures bespoke products for process industries. They are looking for a Production Supervisor to join their team in Northwest London on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience and be able to lead a team.
 
The Production Supervisor will ideally have the following attributes:
  • Experience of leading a team
  • At least 2 years’ experience within a Manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of 3D CAD and the ability to read engineering drawings
  • Qualified in Engineering ideally (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) OR qualified by experience
  • Ability to motivate a team to meet production targets
  • Understanding of KPI monitoring
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude
 
The Production Supervisor role will involve:
  • Overseeing the production team and ensuring work is carried out effectively
  • Also being hands-on when need be - checking engineering drawings and working on updates and improvements
  • Ensuring orders are on time and testing is complete
  • Monitoring KPI’s and ensuring targets are met
  • Liaising with other departments where necessary
  • Ensuring the Production department are complying with Health & Safety regulations and company policies
  • Tackling any issues that may arise throughout production
  • Working to continuously improve quality standards
