Project Lead – Bournemouth / Fully remote working - £50,000 - £55,000

A top client of mine have let me know they are hiring for a Project Lead to join their team due to a massive period of growth they’re going through right now. As such, I am on the hunt for a Project Lead or a Senior Project Manager, looking to step up.

This role will see you work remotely bar a once-a-month scrum meeting at their HQ in Bournemouth so ideally, you’ll be within a commutable distance from Bournemouth. Here you will still be in a Delivery & Project focused role but you’ll also have a part in mentoring, day-to-day management & process control. This will be a 25% split of your time.

Project Lead Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of your digital accounts and campaigns
  • Set up projects for success through creation of robust project plans, statements of work, risk assessments and other key documents
  • Proactively mitigate against project risks, control financials and remove dependencies to ensure delivery on time and within budget
  • Ensure projects are delivered to a high standard, hitting client objectives and meeting the needs of users
  • Be a servant leader of cross-functional teams that include researchers, designers, developers and QA testers
  • Work with New Business and Client Services to identify, scope and plan new opportunities within your accounts
  • Identify opportunities for improving internal processes to maximise efficiency, output quality and team cohesion
  • Communicate the status of projects to clients and internally to the Head of Digital Delivery

Project Lead requirements

  • Ideally 5 years’ agency experience, & within a Senior Project Manager, Project Director role
  • Confident in establishing, monitoring and reviewing success criteria through agreed KPIs
  • Confident with Waterfall, Agile and blended methodologies
  • Comfort in using technical language with designers, developers and QA testers
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Must have worked with Jira, Confluence and Trello previously
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS and Javascript desirable but not essential
  • A passion for producing remarkable digital experiences.
