Engineering Administrator

ROLE- Engineering Administrator 

LOCATION- Winchester

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- Dependent on experience (Please advise what you’re looking for)

My client works within the Engineering sector, and they are looking to take on a Technical Clerk, on a permanent basis, in the Winchester area.

The Technical Clerk / Engineering Administrator will ideally have the following attributes:
  • Previous experience in a similar Project Admin / Technical Clerk / Purchasing role
  • Experience working with PO's, invoices, cashflow, profit & loss etc.
  • Ideally have experience being involved with projects and document control – any experience working with another Engineering, Power, Water or Energy company would be desirable
  • Good level of technical understanding
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proficient with using MS Office
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • The ability to work well alone or as part of a team
The Technical Clerk / Engineering Administrator role will involve:
  • Working with the Project Managers and Sales Manager and other staff in the team
  • Being involved in project support
  • Working with purchase orders and invoices
  • Doing profit & loss reports
  • Looking after different purchasing functions
  • Compiling standard documents
