JOB- QEHS Manager
LOCATION- Hampshire
TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £55,000- £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are looking for a QEHS Manager on a permanent basis to work in a fast paced Manufacturing environment as well as managing and leading the Quality aspects of NPD and NPI Processes. The company is going through enhanced growth with significant investment with continuous improvement

The QEHS Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
  • Degree in Quality, Manufacturing or Engineering would be beneficial or in a similar field
  • Knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, 8D and 5S
  • Member of the CQI would be an advantage
  • Good interpersonal skills and passionate about Quality
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to engage others effectively and drive change across all levels
  • Results focused whilst comfortably owning KPIs and explaining performance
  • Good project management skills for short and medium term goals
The QEHS Manager role will involve:
  • Managing & maintaining the company’s quality accreditations including ISO9001 and ISO14001
  • Managing internal & external audit whilst acquiring and maintaining external accreditations
  • Building strong relationships at all levels of organisation ensuring implementation of a quality culture across the business
  • Review team’s capabilities and identify gaps. Implement coaching, training and performance management to develop required capability
  • Investigate non-conformances, process & product issues and customer complaints
  • Implement corrective and preventative measures with use of RCA tools
  • Work with directors and SMT to identify and implement improvements to the Quality systems
  • Reviewing of risk assessments and safe systems of work
  • Support continuous improvement and team development
  • Support ongoing investment in new products, processes and equipment
  • Manage and enhance the business Quality control, including management of inspection, scrap analysis, concessions and returns
  • Review and enhance the QMS to ensure it remains consistent and effective whilst ensuring smooth implementation.
