My client is a well-known Interior Architecture and design practice and works within High-end luxury residential design; looking to take on an experienced residential Interior Designer on a permanent basis in Chelsea, London.
The Senior Interior Designer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Degree qualified in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design
- 10+ years’ experience in Residential design
- Experience at a Senior Designer level with good knowledge pf running high-end residential design projects
- Technical understanding of architectural design
- Good understanding of current trends within the design industry
- A thorough understanding of target markets
- Experience of designing for Luxury High-end Interiors
- Excellent knowledge in space planning and concept development
- Excellent knowledge and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up and Adobe Creative Suite
- Good knowledge and understanding the RIBA work stages
- Be self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Be keen to develop as part of a dynamic team long term

The Senior Interior Designer role will involve:
- Being creative, logistical, and taking lead with projects as well as presentations
- Developing concepts that provide an original approach and effective solution to the creative brief
- Selling concepts and design solutions to the client
- Reporting to the Project Manager and as and when required to the Founder
- Working collaboratively and effectively with other members of the design team to generate accurate, technical and creative design solutions
- Taking lead and managing the team across all stages of the project and report back throughout
- Designing floor plans, spatial layouts, and furniture plans.
- Creating visuals in the form of mood, concept development and finishes boards
- Developing initial proposals to include existing and proposed layouts
- Being involved in building strong relationships with their clients throughout the creative process.
- Recognising and developing new business opportunities with new or existing clients
- Orchestrating pitches proposal through effective management facilitation
- Visiting site to ensure projects are in keeping with design and development
- Liaising and conducting site meetings with colleagues and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on-time and within budget and to the highest standard through the project through to completion.
- Being prepared to travel nationwide
