Senior PHP Developer
£45,000 - £50,000

An innovative software house that specialises in cloud-based solutions for a variety of clients within the telecommunications sector, have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Senior PHP Developer to join their team, based in Manchester. The Senior PHP Developer will be assisting in the development of new scalable web-based solutions, as well as improving their existing legacy platforms. The Senior PHP Developer will have the opportunity to progress quickly within the company as this well-established business continues to grow. The main projects that are currently in motion are re-writing the architecture of their back end platforms to improve the existing look and feel.

Key Skills:
  • Excellent knowledge of PHP, including OOP
  • Working in an agile environment
  • Knowledge of security standards
  • LAMP stack architecture
  • Working with RESTful API’s
  • Experience with MVC techniques, Laravel or similar
  • Relational databases, MySQL
  • HTML/CSS and JavaScript, jQuery
  • JavaScript, including experience with a modern framework, ideally Vue.js
  • Strong experience with TDD, PHP unit
