JOB- Shipping Administrator / Office Administrator

LOCATION- Near Wembley, North West London

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £20,000 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience; please advise)

My client work within engineering and they are looking to take on a Shipping Administrator / Administrator to join their team, on a permanent basis, near the Wembley area.

The Shipping Administrator will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Previous experience working in a similar Administration role with transferable skills
  • Any experience working within the engineering or manufacturing sector would be desirable; but not essential
  • A positive attitude to work
  • Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
  • Be proficient with using MS Office & computer systems
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Have good organisational skills and be self-motivated
  • Keen to develop with a company long term
The Shipping Administrator role will involve:

  • Working within the Sales Office
  • Working on Dispatch
  • Picking orders from the companies system and creating delivery notes for the dispatch team
  • Informing customers of collections
  • Booking couriers when required
  • Training will be given where needed
  • Working with MS Office and the company system
  • Adapting and developing in the role long term
