Due to the continued expansion of the agency and some really exciting client projects we are seeking a mid- senior weight 3D Animator to join our creative technology team. Your primary purpose will be to enable internal development and creation of 3D animated content predominately within Unreal Engine and supporting software. You will play a pivotal role in up-skilling the team and enhancing in-house animated projects.
Mid-weight 3D Animators are responsible for development, animation and production of characters and environments that align with the direction set out by Creative. You will collaborate with and support Senior and Junior members of the digital team and wider creative team. You will need to be proactive, show initiative and be an excellent team player yet also confident to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Ability to understand a brief and create an accurate and relevant design that responds to this.
- The ability to communicate concepts through mood boards.
- The ability to convey concept ideas as quick sketch ideas (by hand, digitally or in 3D).
- The skill to articulate a vision, confident presenting concept designs to peers and management.
- Manage 3D assets.
- Rigging assets.
- Animate characters and scenes in order to produce / incorporate into deliverable content.
- Coding (relating to animation).
- Assist in environmental and lighting design.
- Assist in voice actor direction and workflow.
- Contribute to scripting and scoping of animated content
Key software requirements include:
- Character animation experience
- Experience with MAYA software
- Expert with Unreal Engine.
- Cinema 4D, 3DS Max and Blender advantageous.
- Adobe CreativeCloud knowledge advantageous
