Cyber Security Consultant
Maidstone, Kent - Hybrid
Up to £120,000 DOE
A leading client of our based in Maidstone area of Kent is looking for a Cyber Security consultant to join them on a permanent basis.
You will take responsibility in lead the Cyber Security engagement and providing expert guidance on frameworks.
Working closely with their clients you will develop tailored strategies and conduct analysis to resolve any gaps within their current programmes.
Other Key Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities to expand Cyber Security services
- Understand the client's security challenges and objectives
- Manage stakeholders and clients
- Bring a strong level of technical expertise as well as the ability to build strong relationships and accounts
- Conduct remediation planning and programme development
- Oversee penetration testing, security audits vulnerability assessments
- Guide ISO27001, NIS2, DORA, Cyber Essentials, NIST and GDPR compliance
- Mentor junior cyber security consultants
What you'll bring:
- Experience within cyber security consulting, compliance or risk management
- Good knowledge of security frameworks and regulations
- Experience conducting risk assessments and implementing security controls
- Take cyber security concepts and translate them into business-relevant recommendations
- Experience in finance or insurance is beneficial but not essential
- Relevant cyber security certifications are also desirable
In return, depending on experience my client can offer the successful Cyber Security consultant a salary of up to £120,000 depending on experience and qualifications and hybrid working. This is an opportunity to make a mark on a growing organisation within an established service provider.
