JOB – Maintenance Engineer
LOCATION – West Berkshire
TERM- Permanent
SALARY - £40,000 - £48,000, dependent on experience
My client designs and manufactures products and systems within the Renewable Energy sector. They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team in West Berkshire on a permanent basis.
The Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Time Served Apprenticeship / NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in an Engineering discipline
- Come from a Mechanical background
- Knowledge of Electrical equipment and installations
- Ideally be experienced working with plant equipment / machinery in Oil & Gas, Energy or related industries
- Able to work safely and methodically
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team
- A flexible and proactive attitude towards work
The Maintenance Engineer role will involve:
- Working in a team to improve and maintain manufacturing machinery
- Being proactive in ensuring the smooth running of all equipment
- PPM and breakdown avoidance
- Ensuring documentation is maintained and Health & Safety standards are met
- Ensuring efficiency and a high standard of work is met throughout the site
- Working with others and being an excellent team player
- Monitoring and improving quality standards
- Assisting colleagues with any engineering or manufacturing issues that may arise
