Job: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £45,000-£65,000 per annum
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join a client based in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and creating 3D models, assembly drawings, and detailed part drawings using CAD software.
- Performing structural and thermal analyses to ensure the integrity and performance of mechanical designs.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and improve existing products.
- Conducting testing and validation procedures to ensure product reliability and performance.
- Managing projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design and development.
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Strong knowledge of Engineering - Electrical and Engineering - Mechanical principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
