We are seeking a talented Mid-Weight Video Editor to join our close-knit team.
As a Mid-Weight Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality videos for various projects. This will be for a variety of work from internal client learning modules and corporate films to branded and short-form social media content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.
We are a small film department where everyone gets stuck in and works in a collaborative way as a team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Edit raw footage into polished videos, ensuring smooth transitions, proper pacing, and seamless integration of audio and visual elements
- Collaborate with the creative team and producers to understand project requirements and objectives
- Create compelling narratives
- Enhance video quality through colour correction (Premiere grade), audio adjustments, and other post-production techniques
- Incorporate graphics, 2D animations, and special effects as needed (Adobe After-Effects)
- Ensure final videos align with brand guidelines and meet client specifications
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Working with edit assistants to make sure project preparation is organised correctly as well as final delivery
ABOUT YOU:

MINIMUM
of 3–5 years’ experience working as an Editor on branded or corporate content in a marketing/advertising agency environment. Have a diverse portfolio demonstrating the ability to work with a variety of clients and brands
- Proficient in Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiar with Adobe After Effects
- Strong understanding of video editing techniques, including pacing, storytelling, and visual composition
- Demonstrable experience with short form, social content, promos and narrative films
- An ability to take a brief from concept to conclusion, work solo or in a team and to pick-up projects from another editor
- Ability to work calmly in a high-pressure environment with in-house teams
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and feedback
