Principal Radar Engineer – North London/Hertfordshire - £65,000 - £75,000 pa
A global electronics manufacturer in the defence Industry are looking for a Principal Radar Engineer to join their R&D team developing top of the range solutions for the Space, Air, Land & Marine sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Apply expert knowledge of RF & radar systems, associated techniques, architectures and technologies
- RF & Radar architecture, module development and integration
- Develop signal processing algorithms for radar applications
- Simulation suite development of sub-systems
Key Skills/Experience:
- Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline
- Expert knowledge of Radar Engineering (Phased Array, Video or Image processing, plot extraction etc.)
- Previous experience in leading large, complex design & analysis projects
- Pulse compression, doppler filtering, CFAR & detection
- RF/Antenna design
- MATLAB
- DSP
Any mix of the following is nice to have:
- Hardware test & debugging
- Source control/issue tracking (Git/JIRA)
- Programming languages (C/C++)
