ROLE- Product Design Engineer
LOCATION- West London
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £30,000 - £38,000 (dependent on experience)
Premier Engineering are currently recruiting for a Product Design Engineer to join a growing company in West London.
The role will involve taking projects from initial concept through to manufacture. You will be using Creo and SolidWorks and designing electro-mechanical products.
Ideally we would like you to:
- Be skilled in using 3D CAD software (Creo or strong SolidWorks skills)
- have at least 2 years’ experience in a Product Design position would be idea
- Be able to create models / prototypes
- Be technically minded with a head for problem solving
- Have an understanding of design for manufacture
- Have a design related degree (Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering etc.)
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop your ideas from concept to production
- Sketch ideas and develop concepts
- Create models/prototypes
- Do market research, work with clients and listen to their feedback
- Use all manufacturing processes
