Role: Finance Director
Location: Prague
Salary: 120 – 180 K gross
Our long standing client is looking for a Finance Director to join them through this exciting time of growth. This company has recently gone through some aquisitions and are now looking for a Finance Director to become an essential asset to the company and help guide them through these exciting times.
You will report to the Managing Director and have a few direct reports, working with a team of 5. The company has a few locations arounf the work so any experience in the UK and EMEA regions is ideal - however you must be based or happy to relocate to Prauge (must speak English and Czech).
About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business expansion and profitability, including growth through acquisitions.
- Oversee all financial management activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, both locally and to the parent company.
- Provide strategic financial guidance and analysis to senior leadership.
- Manage the accounting team and HR function, ensuring precision, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Supervise IT and Admin support functions.
- Drive process improvements and implement new ERP systems to enhance financial operations and reporting capabilities.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including regulatory bodies, auditors, and financial institutions.
- Help with the aquisitions
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar finance role
- Experience in the EMEA regions and other locations
- Must speak English and Czech
- Proficiency in CZ GAAP and tax regulations, with experience in IFRS and/or US GAAP reporting.
- Excellent system skills, including complex ERP systems
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work with staff across different teams and levels.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
