The early success of our product has generated a ton of momentum, but we’ve only scraped the surface of what we are building. We are now looking for a lead engineer to help architect scalable agent and underwriter-facing UI and continue to build meaningful features across the stack.
About the position: This is a senior, hands-on technical leadership role for a motivated and product-minded UI engineer. You will be responsible for the architecture, standards, and execution of the inRev frontend. The person who will succeed in this role is determined to build impactful, intuitive, and beautifully crafted software. You aren't afraid to tackle unique architectural challenges, such as our dynamic, schema-driven form engine and complex data visualizations for underwriters.
We are looking for a creative partner with a strong design sense who can work with deep complexity and contribute actively to the user experience. You will have the autonomy to make key architectural decisions, establish best practices, and mentor other engineers, directly shaping the future of our product's interface.
What you will be asked to do:
● Take ownership of the frontend architecture, setting technical standards and driving best practices in a modern React and TypeScript environment.
● Lead the development of a robust, scalable design system and reusable component library to unify our user experience.
● Own and evolve our dynamic, schema-driven form engine, deciding whether to build upon our existing library or architect a new solution.
● Design and implement sophisticated, interactive data visualizations for our internal underwriting and risk analysis platforms.
● Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to translate complex requirements into elegant and scalable UI solutions.
● Mentor other engineers on frontend best practices, perform thoughtful code reviews, and elevate the quality of the entire team.
● Drive frontend performance optimizations and ensure our UI is built to scale for new business lines and white-labeling opportunities.

● Frontend: TypeScript, React (with modern patterns including Hooks), Headless UI, and the TanStack ecosystem (React Query, React Table).
