Vacancy- 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer

Location- Watford

Term- Permanent

Salary- Up to £26,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
I am looking for a 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer to join a well-established business based in Watford. This is a great opportunity for a 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer to become a part of an exciting company who can offer excellent career progression and training opportunities to progress your IT Support career. As the 1st Line Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for any internal user issues, remotely and deskside, escalating when necessary. The 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer you will have some of the following attributes:
  • Previous experience working as a 1st Line Support Engineer
  • Experience working with Windows Operating Systems
  • Office 365 or Exchange exposure
  • Windows Server knowledge would be beneficial but not necessary
  • Knowledge of Active Directory
  • Troubleshooting knowledge
  • Computer hardware knowledge- Printers, laptops, desktops etc
  • Great communication, written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong ambitions to succeed and progress
  • Excellent organisational skills
As 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer some of your duties will include:
  • Support internal users with any issues, escalating when necessary
  • Software instillations and upgrades
  • Roll out and support IT hardware
  • Active Directory administration
  • Monitor internal networks- troubleshoot and configure
  • Log and update internal systems with any issues.
  • Act as the 1st point of contact to users with any issues
  • Review all tickets before they are passed on
As 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer some of your duties will include:
  • Up to £26,000 salary depending on experience
