Role- Graduate Electrical Design Engineer
Salary- £30,000- £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience, please advise)
Type- Permanent
Location- Remote
My client work within engineering and they are looking to take on a Graduate / Electrical Design Engineer to develop as part of their team.
The Electrical Design Engineer role will ideally have the following attributes:
- Apprenticeship / HNC/ HND / BTEC / City & Guilds / Degree qualification or similar in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Have knowledge or experience of working with AutoCAD or similar electrical design CAD software
- Knowledge of electrical regulations and design
- Be able to do lighting and load calculations
- Any knowledge of Amtech, Dialux or similar would be ideal too
- Be able to work on a remote basis
- Be keen to learn and develop a range of skills
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
The Electrical Design Engineer role will involve:
- Working within the existing engineering electrical team
- Working with electrical CAD software like AutoCAD
- Doing lighting and load calculations
- Working on a range of projects
- Always looking at identifying areas for improvements
- Working with electrical schematics
