JOB – Field Service Engineer
LOCATION – Manchester
TERM – Permanent
SALARY - £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience
My client is a specialist supplier of products and machinery. They are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team based in the Manchester area on a permanent basis.
The Field Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- 5-10 years’ relevant experience in a Servicing role
- strong electrical engineering knowledge/background with some mechanical
- Ideally some background working with CNC machinery
- Experience servicing, maintaining and testing cnc machinery
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Flexible with working hours Monday-Friday
- Team player who is passionate about their work
- Happy to travel on a field basis approx. 80% of the time
- Holds a full UK driving licence
The Field Service Engineer role will involve:
- Travelling to customer sites to deliver and service machinery
- Electrical and Mechanical maintenance and repair
- Training customers on how to use their machinery
- Electrical servicing with some mechanical elements
- Around 20% of work at the company base and 80% servicing
- Developing strong relationships with customers
- Company car
