Health & Safety Manager – Construction
Location: Reading (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £80,000 – £90,000 + Package

 

The Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable HSE professional to lead on health and safety across multiple sites. You will be responsible for driving best practice, ensuring compliance, and embedding a strong safety culture throughout the business.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Provide guidance and support to operational and senior leadership teams
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective and preventative actions
  • Deliver training and promote continuous improvement in HSE performance
  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and all relevant UK legislation

 

About You

  • Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction sector
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred
  • Strong understanding of UK health and safety legislation and CDM regulations
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Organised, pragmatic, and solutions-focused approach

 

Package

  • £80,000 – £90,000 salary
