Premier Engineering has engaged with a key client who are a water treatment solutions leader based in the West Midlands. Due to team expansion new opportunities have arisen for an Industrial Electrician, one for clean water and one for waste-water treatment.
 
With an extensive range of services offered the suitable candidate will be eager to work in a fast-paced environment and keen to progress career into a lead role. This is an opportunity to be the team leader and grow the electrical team.

Duties are to include:
  • Installation of electrical
  • Testing and inspection and safety
  • Fault finding and repair of electrical
  • Reactivate
About you:

The ideal candidate must have a positive 'can do' attitude, good organisational skills and able to work alone or as part of a team. You will be working directly with our customers therefore good communication and customers services skills are essential.

In addition to this we require the following:
  • Full drivers’
  • JIB Gold card
  • BS7671 18th Edition/17th Edition as a minimum
  • NVQ Level 3 city and Guilds for electrical installations (or equivalent)
  • City and Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) would be advantageous but not
ResponsibilitiesM&E projects team contracted to multiple water works companies throughout the UK working on clean water sites carrying out a full refurbishment on existing sites and new installations. Working on LV systems. a typical installation would be to an industrial standard with key items such as main P.D.B Motors and drive sections, 3 phase and single-phase distribution boards, ladder rack, cable tray, trunking, conduit containment, single and multicore SWA & AWA cables, small power and lighting

circuits and associated equipment specific to the site installation, automated valves, dosing equipment, flowmeters level sensors, etc panel work and PLC terminating following approved cable schedules diagrams, layouts and site instruction upon completion all circuits, are tested and results recorded with NIC certification.
