ROLE- Installation Engineer
LOCATION- Southwest (lots of the work will be based around Devon/Cornwall area)
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £25,000 - £40,000, dependent on experience
My client designs and manufactures products and systems within the Renewable Energy sector. They are looking for an Installation Engineer to join their team in Cornwall on a permanent basis.
The Installation Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- At least 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar field-based Installation, Servicing or Commissioning role
- Experience working in construction, renewables or with related equipment
- Hands-on experience with maintenance, installation, commissioning, servicing and repair
- Strong experience with assembly and build
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Team player who is passionate about their work
- Flexible with working hours Monday-Friday
- Happy to travel on a field basis and work alone
- Holds a full UK driving licence
The Installation Engineer role will involve:
- Travelling to customer sites across the UK to service, maintain and install equipment
- Testing and repairing equipment to be dispatched
- Training customers on how to use their equipment
- Developing strong relationships with customers
- Working in a small multi-disciplinary team
