IT Support Technician
Job Title: IT Support
Industry: Public and Educational
Job Type: Contract
Contract Term: 3 months (Likely extension)
Day Rate: 100 – 130 P/D (Inside)
Location:  On Site ( London )
Role Requirements:
  • To coordinate and report to the head of IT in relation to work duties
  • Manage and maintain school’s PC’s, Macs, and associated hardware
  • Experience with authentication and directory services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group policies)
  • Office365, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint
  • Install, configure, update as well as troubleshoot computers and hardware
  • Carry out front desk duties in the Computer Lab, assisting students and staff with IT related issues
  • Troubleshoot IP Phones
  • TCP/IP Networking LAN/WAN (DNS, DHCP, VPN)
Skills Required:
  • Candidate must have a relevant IT qualification, such as CompTIA, Cisco, etc.
  • Experience with PC components and able to design and build and workstations
  • Imaging of PC’s & Mac workstations.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS. (Windows 8 &10)
  • Knowledge of Mac hardware and Mac OS
  • Papercut print management system.
  • Good communication and Organisation skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative
  • An exploring mind with the ability to think outside the box
