The role:

Premier Group are excited to be working on behalf of an extremely exciting leading retailer who are the hunt for an incredible Java Developer! We are looking for a talented Java Developer to come on board on a permanent basis with no two days being the same and starting ASAP. You will be working alongside an elite supportive team to solve complex problems and help further develop the company.

The perfect candidate:

  • Previous experience in Java Developer role
  • Experience using Spring Boot and its design/architecture
  • Knowledge of Microservices
  • Previous experience working in cloud-based environments with AWS/Azure
  • A good grasp of containerization and Docker
  • A strong foundation on OOP
  • An excellent problem solver and communicator
  • Great team skills

The following would be beneficial:

  • Knowledge of Kafka
  • Previous experience with Kubernetes
  • Apigee, Kong or AWS gateway experience preferable
  • Experience with Couchbase/MongoDB, NoSQL
