Role- Field Service Engineer
Salary- £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Type- Permanent
Location- Manchester
My client is a specialist manufacturer of Refrigeration equipment. They are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their team in Manchester on a permanent basis.
The Field Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- 2 years or more of experience in a similar Mobile Engineering position
- Have a background in Refrigeration with knowledge of Refrigeration systems and principles
- Mechanically minded
- Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Proven ability to drive Engineering development
- Good mathematical and general engineering knowledge
- The ability to understand system requirements
- Be self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to comfortably travel around the Manchester Greater Area for work
The Field Service Engineer role will involve:
- Travelling to customer sites to deliver and service controls and systems
- Electrical & Mechanical maintenance and repair
- Training customers on how to use the equipment
- Mechanical servicing
- Around 10% of work at the company base and 90% servicing
- Developing strong relationships with customers
