JOB- Project Engineer
LOCATION- Liverpool
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £40,000 - £45,000 (Dependant on experience)
My client is a manufacturer in the machinery and process sector. They are looking for a Project Engineer to join their team in Liverpool on a permanent basis.
The Project Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- HND/ Degree qualified in Engineering / a similar STEM subject
- 3 or more years’ experience in Project Engineering from working in a similar role or environment
- Experienced working in a highly regulated industry
- Proficient with using MS Office
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Flexible to travel as part of the role as required
- Engaged, enthusiastic and proactive with a systematic approach to work
- Able to work well alone as well as in a team
The Project Engineer role will involve:
- As a hands-on Project Engineer you will be taking designs and implementing them
- Technical assessment, analysis and review of full lifecycle projects
- Scheduling, cost and quality control
- Line managing direct reports
- Mentoring others
- Communicating with customers to ensure specifications are met
- Supporting the Project Manager
- Involved in purchasing for projects and chasing suppliers as and when required
- Preparing the required project related documentation & drawings
