Role- Electrical Project Manager

Salary- Circa £40,000 - £47,000 per annum

Type- Permanent

Location- Hybrid / Staffordshire

My client provides electrical services to the energy sector, and they are looking to take on an Electrical Project Manager, on a permanent basis.

The Electrical Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

  • NVQ / HND / Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering or a similar subject
  • Previous experience working in a similar Projects role or potentially Service (Power Generation) – confident with technical project delivery and business operations
  • Previous industry experience working with control systems, electrical machines or within the electrical power systems sector
  • Someone who is keen to develop their skills and qualifications further with a company
  • A Prince2 or APM qualification would be desirable
  • Be able to write technical proposals
  • Confident with stakeholder management
  • Be a strong team player
  • Have strong organizational and planning skills
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence

The Electrical Project Manager role will involve:

  • Working on a hybrid basis between site and home and also visiting customers
  • Being involved in delivering complex projects – previous exposure to Control Systems ideally
  • Assessing project risks
  • Supporting customer enquiries – generating proposals
  • Liaising with different departments and team members
  • Managing project scheduling as required
  • Monitoring timelines and budgets to ensure these are kept to
  • Always work to company ISO standards
