JOB- Purchasing & Production Scheduler
LOCATION- Gloucestershire
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £23,000 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are looking for a Purchasing & Production Scheduler on a permanent basis in the Gloucestershire area with good comprehension of the full production cycle. BPPS Security clearance required.


The Purchasing & Production Scheduler will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Extensive knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
  • Continuous improvement experience
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Detail orientated
  • Proactive approach to work
  • Self-motivated individual
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure

The Purchasing & Production Scheduler role will involve:

  • Raising routine Purchase Orders, checking acknowledgements and making amendments
  • Monitoring orders & deliveries
  • Signing off on Purchase Orders
  • Deputising for Commercial and Technical purchasing manager
  • Ensuring schedule is optimised for maximum throughput
  • Monitoring output, quality & scrap rates
  • Maintaining records of products and approved suppliers
  • Order control & monitor stationary stocks
