Job Title: Quality Inspector (CMM Experience Essential) Location: BlackburnSalary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annumHours: 38.5 hours per week (half day Friday) Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector with strong CMM experience to support inspection activities in a precision manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform dimensional inspection using CMM equipment Program and operate CMM (e.g. Mitutoyo, Hexagon) Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections Use manual inspection tools (micrometers, verniers, height gauges) Record, analyse, and report inspection results Identify non-conformances and support root cause analysis Work with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal procedures Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives Requirements Proven Quality Inspector experience Hands-on CMM programming and operation (essential) Strong drawing interpretation and attention to detail Benefits Pension scheme 38.5-hour working week Half day on Fridays
