Role- Reliability Engineering Manager
Salary- £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
Type- Permanent
Location- Surrey
My client designs, manufactures and services electro-mechanical products and they are looking to take on a Reliability Engineering Manager, on a permanent basis, in the Surrey area.
The Reliability Engineering Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
- BEng/ BSc qualification or similar in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar
- 10 years’ or more experience working within design and manufacturing
- Proven reliability engineering experience
- Previous experience working in a product environment (mechanical, electronics, software, hardware etc.)
- Six Sigma qualification would be desirable (ideally Black Belt)
- Knowledge and experience of DFMEA and PFMEA processes
- The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team between different sites
- Excellent proficiency working with MS Office
- Have excellent communication skills to liaise between design, testing and manufacturing teams
The Reliability Engineering Manager role will involve:
- Being involved with creating structured processes for NPI
- Providing hands on reliability expertise for DFM
- Reporting on performance
- Designing, implementing and leading DFR processes
- Ensuring that all products reach lifecycle goals
