JOB- Sales Order Processing Administrator  

LOCATION- Essex

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £25,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

My client works within engineering manufacturing and they are looking for Sales Order Processing Administrator to join their business on a permanent basis in the Essex area.

The Sales Order Processing Administrator will ideally have the following attributes:
  • Experience in a similar role with a manufacturing company would be beneficial
  • Experience using SAP ideally
  • Proficiency with using Microsoft Office (Excel & Outlook) is essential
  • Confident with customer service to liaise with internal customers
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Having an understanding of MRP would be advantageous
  • Good organisation skills
The Sales Order Processing Administrator role will involve:
  • Processing all sales orders to the agreed service level
  • Monitoring the progress of all orders and highlighting any issues
  • Verifying and authorising all Overseas and UK orders
  • Resolving any customer queries that are related to orders/ enquiries
  • Producing required reports
  • Liaising with customers over the phone and by email
  • Allocating relevant stock and putting this on to the ERP system
