JOB – Field Service Engineer
LOCATION – London
TERM – Permanent
SALARY - £40,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience)
My client is a reputable, independent company which services and installs custom Mechanical and Electrical equipment. They are looking for a Service & Installation Engineer to join their team working in the South on a permanent basis and are offering a competitive package.
The Field Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Experienced with mechanical service and installation
- Knowledge of industrial water equipment, pumps, motors, pressure equipment or similar would be beneficial
- Ideally have some experience working with heavy-duty machinery, cherry pickers, scissor lifts
- An Electrical or Mechanical qualification background would be ideal
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be happy to travel and work outside
The Field Service Engineer role will involve:
- Travelling to customer sites in the South to service and install bespoke mechanical and electrical equipment
- Working to risk assessments and safety regulations
- Travelling to supervise the installation of the company sites
- Repair, planned maintenance, commissioning and handover, communicating with both colleagues and customers
- 80% servicing & Maintenance / 20% Installation/Commissioning
